Worship Committee
Did you ever want to make a real difference in worship at a church? Here's your chance. Take your heart for ministry and serving others and share it in all aspects of worship at Cody UMC. Contact Jenny Zink to get involved.
Cody UMC is committed to providing a safe, nurturing and educational environment where Christ's love and compassion and hope are ever-present. For the young ones, age 5 and under, nursery services are available during each worship service. Sunday School is available for children age 6 through 12 from the Sunday after Labor Day to the Sunday before Memorial Day, during the worship service, featuring bible stories, activities and prayer. Youth Middle School through High School age are encouraged to participate in United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF). Youth share in biblical learning, prayer, fun activities and opportunities to participate in worship. (Safe Sanctuaries Policy available upon request.)
Music Ministry
The Morning Glories and the Chancel Choir lift praises to the Lord in song. Special music during Lent and Advent sometimes includes strings, horns and percussion. Choir practice 11:15 a.m. following Sunday Worship service. Joyful singers with an ear for music are always welcome.
The Chancel Bell Choir rings with joy and praise to the Lord once a month. With a four-octave range of bells and chimes, the higher octaves occasionally ring for special events in the community. No experience necessary. Come join us!
Special Music consists of a wide variety of musicians (sings, instrumentalists) who share their talents lifted in praise to the Lord during worship services during the summer.

Pastoral Support
Whether you identify as “spiritual, not religious” or as a follower of Jesus, Pastor Emily and the lay caregivers are honored to be companions on your journey. Pastoral support includes joining with you as you face struggles and celebrating with you as you experience joy. We are available to listen to you, pray with you, and simply be with you – all in the Spirit of Christ.
Good Samaritan Team
The Good Samaritan Team is a group of compassionate and caring Church Members who guide an outreach ministry in the community to help Cody and Park County families in need.
